Vacant Land Transformed into Interactive Park by Pesanggrahan RW 06 Residents

Residents transform vacant land at RW 06, Pesanggrahan Urban Village, Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta into a productive land as well as social interaction place in the neighborhood. They plant 12 mango trees and others on that 700 square meters land.

It was only a vacant land with piles of trash before local residents clean it

"It was only a vacant land with piles of trash before local residents clean it. We cooperate to create this park. In the future, we will continue to utilize it as interactive park," mentioned Iing Saryati, Pesanggrahan Sub-district Head, Thursday (1/3).

This park provides various supporting facilities such as interactive cabin, waste bank, composting, playground, and badminton court.

"We receive various plants from KPKP Sub-dept. Later on, this park will be managed by the locals. It will also be used to give more points for Healthy City and Adipura assessments. We will start our preparation by educating locals regarding waste bank, composting, then also cleaning and arranging the park according to situation and condition," she explained.
